Job Summary
We’re looking for a proactive and strategic HR Manager based in Nepal to lead and elevate our human resources function at FleetPanda. This role is responsible for driving key HR initiatives ranging from talent acquisition and performance management to employee engagement and culture building. You'll work closely with leadership to ensure our people strategies align with business goals and support a thriving, high-performance team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align HR strategy with company growth goals and cross-functional team scalability.
- Partner with department heads (product, engineering, sales, etc.) to forecast workforce needs based on product roadmap and business pipeline.
- Create agile organizational structures and talent frameworks that evolve with startup-to-scale-up transitions.
- Own full-cycle recruitment using ATS platforms (Keka) and job boards (LinkedIn Talent).
- Automate onboarding workflows using platforms like Notion, Trello, and Slack integrations.
- Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Oversee performance management through 360° performance feedback, goal setting, regular reviews, and support individual development.
- Ensure full compliance with internal policies; maintain clean, accurate records.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure equity and competitiveness.
- Lead engagement and retention initiatives, feedback loops, recognition, and well-being strategies.
- Use HR analytics to identify trends, optimize workforce planning, and inform leadership decisions.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
- Mentor and manage junior HR team members, building a strong and agile HR department.
- Administer HR systems (Keka) and maintain data hygiene and automation flows.
- Plan and oversee employee engagement programs using change management models, and lead change initiatives (e.g., new tool implementation, policy revamps, and org restructuring).
- Facilitate leadership alignment sessions, retrospectives, and anonymous AMA forums for transparent communication.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s in HR, business administration, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR policies, and modern HR technologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in building and leading people-focused strategies in fast-growing organizations.
- Able to work hands-on, solve problems independently, and partner effectively across departments.
- Experience in tech, SaaS, or startup environments.
- Proficiency with HR platforms like Keka, Zoho People, or BambooHR is a plus
- HR certifications (e.g., HRM-CP, PHR) are a plus
